Welcome to Milestone LLC

Milestone LLC provides 24-hour, 7-days a week, mental health community support services for individuals with behavioral and psychiatric disorders who experience severe and persistent mental illness causing symptoms and impairments that produce distress and disabilities in their normal day-to-day functioning, such as self-care, employment, and social and interpersonal relationships.

Community Support Services consist of time-limited training and support to assist individuals with achieving and maintaining stability through teaching and reinforcement of independent living skills, identifying and using other resources in the community, assistance with medication management, and monitoring of physical health and nutrition.

Outpatient Therapy

Are designed to provide therapeutic interventions to individuals who feel the need to address emotional, behavioral, and psychological concerns. The focus of outpatient psychotherapy is to improve an individual’s well-being and functioning.

Psychosocial Rehabilitation

Services designed to support, restore, and maintain community functioning and well-being of adults with a severe and persistent mental illness. The purpose of the service is to promote recovery, resiliency, and community integration by maintaining the person’s optimal level of functioning and preventing psychiatric decompensation, thereby decreasing the risk of unnecessary hospitalization and the need for higher-level intensity services.

Mobile Crisis

Crisis response is available 24 hours per day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. The crisis response team provides community-based crisis services that deliver solution-focused and recovery-oriented behavioral health assessment and stabilization of crisis in the location where the individual is experiencing the crisis. Mobile Crisis Response Teams work hand in hand with law enforcement, Chancery Judges and Clerks, and the crisis stabilization units to ensure a seamless process. The teams ensure an individual has a follow-up appointment with their preferred provider and monitors them until the appointment occurs.

Psychiatric/Physician

Treatment for adults who are experiencing emotional or psychiatric problems is provided in a structured and therapeutic environment. The Adult Treatment Program is tailored to the patient’s individual needs, enabling them to cope with their emotions and behaviors more effectively. Our therapeutic services provide a warm and nurturing environment for individuals and families in crisis to achieve optimal mental health. The staff members in our mental health facility treat every individual with dignity and respect. Our goal is to effectively care for all individuals who take part in our psychiatric treatment programs.

  • Chronic mental illness
  • Phobias/Hallucinations
  • Crisis stabilization

Community Support

Access the need to provide consultation, education, community awareness within our catchment area, and Milestone, LLC will provide the assistance needed to achieve an optimum level of functioning. The Community Support Specialist will provide assessments, treatment planning, and linking and referring community services required by the person receiving services and following up and monitoring the person’s medication and psychological well-being.

Peer Support

Milestone’s peer support specialists are experienced in recovery and provide encouragement and support to individuals as they work toward person-centered recovery. A peer support specialist is a family member and/or individual who has received or is presently receiving behavioral health services.

Certified Peer Support Specialists use their life experiences in combination with formal training recognized by the Mississippi Department of Mental Health to help individuals navigate through community resources and work toward recovery and life goals.

Peer Support Specialists utilize recovery support plans (home, health, community, and purpose) and wellness recovery action plans to help individuals recover from mental illness and/or substance abuse.
